Quiksilver ISA World Juniors Half Hour Special TONIGHT

The Junior Surfing Tribe from around the world comes together tonight, September 8, at 5pm and 8pm Pacific Time on Fuel... 

Channel surfing for something to watch tonight? Tune into the Fuel TV and Quiksilver produced documentary, following the 2008 Quiksilver ISA Junior World Surfing Championship, airing at 5:00pm and 8:00pm Pacific Time on Fuel TV. The show documents the experiences of five of the world top young surfers as they go through the emotional ups and downs of competition, while striving for the common goal of taking home the top honor in international surfing.

FUEL TV Airs 2008 Quiksilver ISA World Junior Surfing Championship

Airing Monday, September 8, 2008 at 8:00 pm Eastern Time (5:00 pm Pacific Time), and re-airing eight more times over the next month, FUEL TV will showcase the 2008 Quiksilver ISA World Junior Surfing Championship.

FUEL TV follows five of the world’s best young surfers from around the globe as they represent their countries in what is the equivalent to the Junior Olympics of Surfing.  Beginning in their home countries, we dive into the lives of Owen Wright from Australia, Ackeam Phillips from Jamaica, Diana de Souza from Brazil, Maxime Huscenot from France, and Courtney Conlogue from California, as they prepare to travel to France for the largest surf contest of the year, the 2008 Quiksilver ISA World Junior Surfing Championship. In France, FUEL TV is there to cover the roller coaster of emotions as each teenager battles the world in the hopes of bringing home a medal for their homeland.

About the International Surfing Association
The International Surfing Association (ISA) is recognized by the International Olympic Committee (IOC) as the World Governing Authority for Surfing and all Surfriding activities, including Short Board, Longboard, Bodyboard, Kneeboard, Skimboard, Tow In and Stand Up Paddle surfing. It was originally founded as the International Surfing Federation in 1964 and has been running world championships since 1964 and the Junior World Championships since 1980.
